Finally!!! It's Baseball Season!!!
I've talked about television shows, movies, and made-for-tv movies so far. But, today, I'm turning my attention to something that can be enjoyed both in the comfort of our own homes, and live and in person. Baseball!!! That's right, folks, I'm a baseball fan. You probably wouldn't have guessed that, but it's true. From watching the littlest players hit off the tee to watching full-grown men in the Bigs, I love to watch baseball.
Dark Winds
I'm going to switch from Angel shows and talk about a series we enjoy that streams on AMC Plus. It's called Dark Winds. Dark Winds follows Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn and his associates from the Navajo Tribal police in the 1970s.
The Parable
It's no secret I've been watching a lot of Angel movies and programs recently. I've got one more to tell you about, and then I promise I'll switch to some other streaming service or topic. At least for a little while.
Sketch
Do you watch movies with your kids or grandkids? We have always enjoyed family movie time. With that in mind, we watched Sketch on the Angel streaming service the other night. I will say that you might want to preview it before watching it with younger children. You will also want to consider your child's anxiety levels before watching with them. Most children will find the antics of the monsters in the film to be funny. BUT if your child is one of the select few who are prone to fearful thoughts or nightmares brought on by watching television or a movie, this might not be the show for them.
Homestead
So, since we watched Solo Mio on Valentine's Day, we decided to subscribe to Angel's streaming service. There are several perks to our subscription. The most obvious is we get a variety of new programs to watch at home. Angel has tiers to their subscription package, and one of those tiers includes a number of tickets to see movies they release in theaters as well. That's the tier we selected--it remains to be seen if we chose the best value or not.
Solo Mio
Valentine's Day just came and went, and this year we chose to do something a little different from our norm. For several years now, we've chosen to go see the local hockey team play for Valentine's Day. It was a tradition started when the kids were younger. This year, we ventured out for breakfast, an early movie, and then tattoos. We chose to go out early to avoid crowds as much as possible, and let's face it, we're getting older, so bedtime is earlier.
